Maisa builds an enterprise AI platform for creating and deploying accountable "digital workers" — AI agents that automate complex, knowledge-intensive business processes with deterministic, auditable, traceable execution, positioned as a fix for hallucination-prone agentic AI in regulated industries. Founded in 2024 by David Villalón, Manuel Romero and Guillermo Blasco, it raised a $25M seed round in August 2025 led by Creandum with Forgepoint Capital (via its JV with Banco Santander), NFX and Village Global, after a ~$5M pre-seed; total reported funding is roughly $35M. It is headquartered in Valencia (Manises), Spain, with a second base in San Francisco.
