Maisa, an agentic-AI startup with dual headquarters in Valencia and San Francisco, raised $25M (~€21.4M) in what was reported as the largest AI seed round ever closed by a Spanish company. The round was led by Creandum with participation from Forgepoint Capital International (its European joint venture with Banco Santander) and existing pre-seed backers NFX and Village Global; the company followed a $5M pre-seed closed in December 2024 and used the capital to launch Maisa Studio.
