VVillage Global
Village Global is a San Francisco-based early-stage venture capital firm that invests at the pre-seed and seed stages, often as a company's first institutional investor. It backs founders across sectors and geographies, typically pre-revenue, with first checks of roughly $0.5–3M, and it runs a dedicated pre-seed programme called Velocity. The firm was founded in 2017 and is chaired by Reid Hoffman. It closed its third fund, Village Global III, at $250M in 2023, bringing total capital managed to more than $500M. Its portfolio of more than 200 companies includes Hadrian, Apex, Applied Intuition, Multiverse, Fal, Socket, Enveda and Metaview.
