Mafer AI (legally Mafer AI SL) builds MaferOS, an AI-native operating system for R&D teams in formulation-driven industries — specialty chemicals, fragrances and flavours, food & beverage, cosmetics and personal care. Its platform captures, normalizes and structures scattered lab data (chromatography/GC-MS/LC-MS outputs, technical documents, regulatory requirements) into model-ready intelligence that speeds up formulation, QC and regulatory compliance. Founded in Barcelona in late 2025 by childhood friends Fer Oliver and Marc Montalbo, it raised a €2M pre-seed in May 2026, reported ~€300k committed ARR six months after launch with three production clients in fragrances & flavours, has ~8-9 employees, and was selected by the Barcelona Supercomputing Center's AI Factory program (50,000+ GPU hours on NVIDIA H100 / MareNostrum V).
