Laguinda is a Madrid-based insurtech that lets customers buy official Spanish lottery tickets online (Euromillones, La Primitiva, Bonoloto, El Gordo, Lotería Nacional) and, for a small extra fee, insure the 20% tax withheld on prizes over €40,000 so winners keep 100% of their prize. The insurance is underwritten via AXA; the company (legally Beco 1987 SL) was founded in 2019 and has received public backing from ENISA plus roughly €3.5M in total funding.
