Biorizon Biotech is a Spanish agricultural biotechnology company, based in Almería, that develops and manufactures microalgae-based biostimulants, biopesticides, and microbial nutritional products for crops using its proprietary Trietech technology. Founded in 2010, it operates the largest microalgae/cyanobacteria production plant in Europe and sells to farmers in over 60 countries; in 2022 Moira Capital Partners acquired a 45.5% stake for roughly €10M to fund international growth.
