Inntro
Inntro is an accessible induction cooktop designed for elderly people and those with low vision, offering tactile buttons, a companion mobile app, and voice control (Alexa) so users can cook independently and safely. It was developed by Acede (Agrupación Cluster del Hogar de Euskadi) together with appliance-component manufacturer Copreci, as part of the publicly funded Suego Senior innovation project (financed via the Adinberri Foundation, Basque regional government). It is an industry-cluster/public-grant R&D product rather than a VC-backed startup, based in Arrasate/Mondragón (Gipuzkoa, Basque Country).
