Lura Care, formerly Dental Residency, is a Barcelona-based company that delivers mobile healthcare to elderly and dependent people, and to people with reduced mobility, in nursing homes, day centres and their own homes. It started with dental care provided by gerodontologists using certified mobile dental units. In 2023 it rebranded as Lura Care and grouped its services into three lines: Lura Dental, Lura Vision (optical) and Lura Hearing (audiology). The company says it has treated more than 100,000 patients in Spain through eight operating centres and partnerships with over 1,000 care homes. It has also expanded to Italy and the United Kingdom, where revenue grew by more than 300% to about €3 million in 2025. Founded in 2015 by Sergi Comas, Alessandro Marconi and Arnau Ayza with €200,000 from family and friends, it raised €300,000 in 2018 (led by Ship2B and EconomistesBAN), about €500,000 in 2020 (led by the Mariné and Seligrat families, with Equity4Good following on), €850,000 in 2021 (led by Ismael Cerezo of ClearDent and Lavanda Ventures) and a €2.1 million round in 2023, and in January 2026 it opened an €8 million round to fund expansion into Germany and France.
