Smart Comfort, S.L. is a Navarre-based electrical-electronic engineering company that designs, manufactures and installs smart far-infrared heating systems, controlled by IoT sensors and data analytics. It operates two brands: AVIR, for thermal comfort and productivity in intensive livestock farms (poultry and swine), and Nawattia, for heating large industrial, public and commercial facilities. Founded in 2016 after incubation at CEIN and now headquartered in Tajonar (Navarra), it won the CaixaBank EmprendedorXXI prize in Navarra and multiple FIGAN innovation awards, and in 2022 EIKA (MONDRAGON Corporation's Components Division) acquired a 20% stake.
