Ontruck is a Madrid-based digital road freight platform that connects shippers with a network of hauliers for regional B2B palletised and parcel transport, combining a marketplace with AI-powered TMS software for pricing, route optimisation, real-time tracking and CO2 monitoring. Founded in 2016 by the team behind La Nevera Roja and TouristEye, it raised roughly $60M across rounds backed by Atomico, Cathay Innovation and OGCI Climate Investments, including a €17M round in 2020 that was Spain's largest of that year. The company has since downsized substantially (around 30 employees per recent data) and pivoted toward selling its logistics software alongside its transport service; only co-founder Iñigo Juantegui remains active as CEO, while the other two co-founders have departed.
