Trucksters is a Madrid-based digital road-freight operator that moves full-truckload (FTL) long-haul cargo across Europe using an AI- and optimisation-driven driver relay system, where drivers swap trailers at midpoints so shipments travel roughly twice as fast while drivers return home daily. Founded in 2018, it operates corridors across Spain, France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland and the UK, and has expanded into refrigerated transport via the acquisition of Nova Gandía. It closed a €33M Series B in June 2023 backed by Continental's CVC arm, Volvo Group Venture Capital, the EIB and FondICO, with a stated ambition to become Europe's first electric long-haul operator.
