Welfare Tracker (Welfare Tracker SL) is a Spanish agritech/animal-health startup founded in 2017 in Tudela, Navarra, that develops systems to quantify, monitor and improve livestock welfare using biometric devices and biomarker measurement — including its PROTEIN-TRACK acute-phase-protein lateral-flow kit, a farm auditing app and a big-data dashboard with configurable alerts for early disease detection, mainly for dairy cattle and rabbit production. It went through the third edition of Orizont, the Navarre agrifood accelerator run by Sodena with CEIN, and has been funded largely by regional/EU R&D grants (FEDER Navarra) plus Sodena financing rather than by classic venture rounds. The company is very small (1–5 employees) and its founders have moved on to other ventures (CEO Urko Muzquiz now leads Betternostic, Camilo Ameijeiras leads Primate).
