HEMAV is a Barcelona-based agtech company (founded 2012 by UPC aerospace engineers) that began as the world's leading drone-services provider for precision agriculture and has since pivoted to LAYERS, an AI SaaS platform that predicts crop yields field-by-field using satellite imagery, weather data and 13+ years of agronomic models. It serves large growers, sugar mills and cooperatives (clients include Syngenta and AMAGGI) across LATAM, Europe and North America, with subsidiaries in Brazil, the US and Peru and roughly 40 staff. LAYERS is a trademark of HEMAV Technology S.L. The company is headquartered in the Barcelona area (Castelldefels/ESA BIC).
