MAE Sports & Education is a Valencia-based edtech/sportstech company that helps international students — mainly Spanish speakers and student-athletes — win admission and academic/athletic scholarships at US universities, colleges and boarding schools, with access to a database of 5,000+ institutions. It has evolved from a B2C consultancy into a free marketplace product branded MAEducation / Global MAE (B2B2C) that connects US institutions directly with international applicants and handles the application paperwork. The company was accelerated by Lanzadera (Juan Roig's Marina de Empresas, Valencia) and is a member of Startup Valencia and Aseproce; it has offices/presence in Valencia, Madrid and LATAM. No priced VC round has been publicly announced.
