Micole
Micole is a Spanish edtech marketplace (legal entity Educadvisor S.L.) that helps families find and contact schools, nurseries and secondary institutions, matching them to centres via filters and an affinity test. Founded in December 2019 in Madrid, it claims to be Spain's leading school search engine with 85,000+ centre profiles, 4,000+ subscribing schools and millions of annual users, and has expanded across Latin America (Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Ecuador) plus a global iSchoolAdvisor platform. It raised a first round of €420,000 in 2022 backed by COREangels and business angels, and in June 2024 edtech Smartick acquired a minority stake in a deal valuing Micole at around €8 million.
