Hoop Carpool

Tribbu (formerly Hoop Carpool, rebranded in September 2025) is a Madrid-based carpooling platform for daily commutes, originally sold as SaaS to companies, universities and city halls and now open to any individual user. It matches drivers and passengers on short recurring routes and pays drivers roughly €1 per 25 km per passenger, funded largely by Spanish Energy Savings Certificates (CAE) sold to utilities, which is over half of its revenue. It reports 60,000+ users, 100+ corporate clients (Mercadona, Banco Santander, Iberostar, Meliá, Mercedes-Benz, Schneider Electric), 500,000+ shared rides and operations in Spain, Portugal, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Panama and Guatemala.
