PERSEO is Iberdrola's corporate venture capital and startup investment program, launched in 2008 and headquartered in Madrid. It has invested over €200 million in startups and funds focused on the energy transition — electrification, decarbonisation, smart grids, energy storage, EV charging, solar and AI-driven digitalisation — and runs PERSEO Venture Builder, a €40M unit that creates new companies in hard-to-decarbonise sectors like heavy industry and transport.
