Viva In Vitro Diagnostics is a Spanish biotech founded in 2021 as the first spin-off of IMIB (Instituto Murciano de Investigación Biosanitaria), specialised in immunological medicine and precision diagnostics based on functional activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome. Its lead technology, VIVA-ELISA® (and the Viva Sepscare® prototype), detects ASC-Specks to identify and stratify critically ill patients, starting with sepsis and expanding toward autoimmune disease, neuroinflammation and oncology. It has raised over €5.7M combining private rounds and public funding, including €2.5M non-dilutive from the EIC Transition programme (selected among 40 most disruptive European companies) plus ENISA, NEOTEC and CDTI support. It is headquartered in Murcia.
