AAmuse Labs
Amuse Labs is a digital animation company created in July 2026 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to create, produce and internationally exploit children's IP (series and franchises) for broadcasters and streaming platforms, owning the intellectual property rather than working purely as a service studio. It was capitalised at €13.2M, of which Spain's state tech-investment vehicle SETT put in €6.4M for a 48% stake under the Spain Audiovisual Hub / Next Generation EU plan, with Amuse Studios (the Gran Canaria arm of French group Amuse) as second-largest shareholder; the plan foresees ~40 direct and ~150 indirect jobs, expansion into North America, Asia, the EU and the UK, and AI tooling across its 2D and CGI pipelines. It is not a VC-backed tech startup but a public-private audiovisual vehicle.
