Ánima Kitchent

Ánima Kitchent is a Spanish animation studio founded in 2014 in Madrid by five former Vodka Capital executives together with Mexico's Ánima Estudios, producing and distributing 2D/3D animated content and children's IP such as Cleo & Cuquín, Lea & Pop, Titto Lizzardo, Tippi T-Rex and PINY Institute of New York for Warner Bros. Discovery, Netflix, Max and YouTube. It runs a Madrid office plus a production studio in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (opened 2017) and employs around 170 people. In June 2026 VFX group DNEG (Prime Focus Group) acquired the company alongside a €24.9M (~$28.8M) investment from Spain's state-backed sovereign tech fund SETT, with a stated plan to create 275 new jobs and scale the studio toward 500-1,000 employees.
