Mettis AI
Mettis AI is a Spanish mobility-tech startup that uses proprietary AI and computer vision to make driving assessment fully objective, analysing learner-driver behaviour in real time via sensors (without recording images, for GDPR compliance) and turning it into performance metrics and legally valid certifications for driving schools and fleets. Founded in Madrid in 2024 by a five-person team drawn from Cabify, Superpedestrian, Uber and Auto1, it holds an international patent, is ISO 27001 / INCIBE certified, works with the DGT's backing, and has processed thousands of sessions across 100+ Spanish driving schools (clients include GALA Autoescuela and Educatrafic). In February 2026 it closed a €1.1M round mixing private and public money and has begun expanding into Italy and France, with Germany, the UK, the US and the Middle East targeted next.
