Uktena is a Santander-based industrial technology company that develops an AI-powered intelligent assistant for capturing, processing and sharing practical know-how in industrial settings. Its platform learns from experienced workers and turns their expertise into step-by-step operating guides with short video explanations, 3D digital twins of equipment and live video support. It runs on mixed-reality glasses, tablets, laptops and mobile devices, and is sold as a per-device licence with unlimited users. Founded in 2020 by Rafael Wanderley, the company counts Roca, Aqualia, Equipe Cerámicas, Insud Pharma, Gureak and OBE Hettich among its clients, and generated more than €80,000 in recurring licence revenue in 2023. It closed a €250,000 first funding round in 2022, joined Juan Roig's Lanzadera accelerator, is certified as an emerging company by ENISA, and won the EmprendeXXI award as the start-up with the greatest potential in Cantabria.
