Health Lean Analytics (HLA) is a Barcelona-based healthtech startup founded in 2023 that automates the capture of clinical and operational data inside hospitals, with a focus on the operating room and perioperative workflows. Its platform uses IoT sensors, AI and real-time analytics to passively record data on patients, surgical materials, medication, OR utilisation and equipment without manual staff input, then surfaces dashboards and predictive recommendations for hospital management. In March 2026 it closed an oversubscribed €1.4M seed round that, together with an ENISA participative loan, brings total funding above €2.1M, with US-listed Novanta Inc. joining as strategic and technology partner to support a planned US commercial rollout. It works with Madrid clinics (Hospital Ntra. Sra. del Rosario, Clínica Rementería).
