Kiin (legally Virtual Bodyworks S.L., rebranded from Virtual Bodyworks and now trading as Kiin Tech Ltd) builds immersive virtual reality training that uses embodiment and neuroscience — its patented KiinX Engine — to let employees experience bias, harassment and difficult conversations from another person's perspective, for DEI, ethics & compliance, leadership and onboarding programmes. It is a spin-off of ICREA/University of Barcelona/IDIBAPS founded by three of the most-cited scientists in VR, and originally sold VR rehabilitation products (VRespect.Me for domestic-violence offenders, i-Cortex for chronic pain) before pivoting to corporate learning. Roughly 27 employees, HQ and R&D in Barcelona (Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau) with additional offices in London/Teddington and Chicago.
