Weitec (legal entity WEIF Agrotecnia S.L.) is a Spanish agtech startup that builds a precision-agriculture SaaS platform turning drone, satellite and sensor data into actionable agronomic decisions — alerts on irrigation failures, pests and nutritional deficiencies — priced per hectare (€15–18/ha/month) so it is viable for small and mid-size farms of 1–50 hectares that larger precision-ag vendors ignore. Founded in June 2021 out of the University of Alicante Scientific Park (and originally incubated at UMH Elche), it closed a €365k first round in February 2024 (oversubscribed vs. a €250k target), monitored ~5,500 hectares with 30+ customers at MVP stage, opened a new HQ in Redován (Alicante) in May 2024, and later secured Enisa AgroInnpulso public financing; it won the Emerging category of the Alicante Agrifood Sector Awards in 2025.
