Vallfirest (legally Vallfirest Tecnologías Forestales, S.L.) designs and manufactures specialised equipment, tools, machinery and technology for wildfire prevention and suppression — from hand tools (Gorgui, Pulaski, McLeod) and PPE to portable pumps, helicopter buckets and forest fire trucks. Founded in 2007 in Vallgorguina (Barcelona) by wildfire expert and forestry engineer Javier Baena, it sells in close to 100 countries with subsidiaries in the United States and Uruguay, has 50+ employees and turnover above €15M, and holds several proprietary patents. Its only outside capital is a 2024 minority growth investment from Suma Capital.
