CLCircular is a Mungia (Bizkaia)-based company that rents reusable IoT sensors, together with a cloud platform, for real-time monitoring of goods in transit and storage. The sensors track temperature, humidity, light, impacts, door openings and geolocation for food, pharmaceutical, retail and logistics shippers, and the platform adds alerts, analytics, an API and a mobile app. Customers include Del Monte, Eroski, San Miguel and HNP Healthcare, and nearly all of its sales are exports; the company is a certified B Corp. It is the main business unit of Arctic Sea, S.L., which has built cold-chain monitoring devices since 2014, and in August 2023 it closed its first institutional round of €1 million, led by Easo Ventures and Enion Venture Partners with Seed Capital Bizkaia taking part.
