Wiserentr

Wiserentr is a Madrid-based company that offers consumer electronics on rental, built into the checkout of e-commerce retailers and telecom operators. Customers pay a fixed monthly fee for devices such as smartphones for up to 24 months, with support and insurance included. They can cancel or buy the device at any time, and returned devices are refurbished and rented out again. The company was founded in 2021 by Carlos Sánchez, formerly CEO of Aplázame, and launched in Spain through the retailer PcComponentes. In 2022 it raised a €1.6 million pre-seed round led by the BBVA–Anthemis partnership, which contributed €1 million, with participation from Shard Capital.
