Ancora Mobile is a Vigo-based Industry 4.0 software company that digitalises front-line workers on the factory floor. It is a spin-off of the University of Vigo's atlanTTic research centre and grew out of the Galician Innovation Agency's (GAIN) Ignicia programme. Its product, Ancora Worker Connect, is a voice-enabled, multimodal assistant for manufacturers. It links workers in real time with manufacturing management systems, gives them hands-free digital guidance for inspections and measurements, and records their feedback. In January 2021 the company closed a €250,000 seed round led by industrial entrepreneur Francisco Pino, with XesGalicia, Vigo Activo, Unirisco, the industrial company Trienxis and its founders taking part. The company entered liquidation in 2025.
