Nannyfy
Nannyfy is a Barcelona-based childcare and edtech company founded in 2018 by Claudia de la Riva. It began as a marketplace where parents could book vetted nannies at home with as little as one hour's notice; its nannies came from education, psychology and nursing backgrounds. During the COVID-19 pandemic it became a virtual learning and childcare platform for children aged 3 to 12. Its NannyFun method offered monthly courses and scheduled daily activities led by nannies and subject experts, delivered to small groups of children of the same age. The company expanded into the United States and Latin America and was an Airbnb Experiences partner. From 2019 it raised more than €1.1M across several rounds, and in January 2021 Wayra X, Telefónica's digital investment hub, invested in the company. In February 2023 Nannyfy merged with Kokoro Kids to form Apolo Kids, with Claudia de la Riva as CEO.
