2gether was a Madrid-based fintech that ran a collaborative financial platform where retail users could hold, buy, sell and spend euros and cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin and ether, from one app. It also offered a prepaid Visa card that converted crypto to euros at the point of sale, and it operated across the eurozone and other European markets. The company was founded by Salvador Casquero and Luis Estrada, with Ramón Ferraz later joining as CEO. It went through Lanzadera's accelerator, received ENISA financing and raised €1.5M in an equity crowdfunding round on Fellow Funders in early 2021 at a €6.5M pre-money valuation, when it reported more than 50,000 users. A July 2020 cyberattack cost it about €1.18M in crypto assets, and the company ceased operations in July 2022, affecting around 100,000 users.
