Copado is an AI-enabled DevOps platform for Salesforce and other enterprise SaaS clouds. Enterprise development teams use it to automate release management, continuous integration and delivery, and testing, and it is sold as a subscription. The company says more than 1,500 brands use the platform. It was founded in Madrid in 2013 by former Salesforce release engineers Federico Larsen and Philipp Rackwitz, bootstrapped to about $4 million in revenue, and is now headquartered in Chicago. It has raised about $257 million in total, including a Series B in March 2021 from Insight Partners and Salesforce Ventures and a $140 million Series C in September 2021. The Series C was led by Insight Partners, included SoftBank Vision Fund 2, IBM Ventures, Lead Edge Capital and ISAI, and valued the company at close to $1.2 billion.
