OOkteto
Okteto is a San Francisco-based developer tools company that provides a platform for cloud development environments on Kubernetes. Development teams use it to spin up realistic, production-like environments with one click, and developers can code in their own IDE while Okteto keeps the remote application updated. The company offers an open-source CLI together with a commercial self-hosted and SaaS platform for engineering and platform teams. Its customers have included Monday.com, LaunchDarkly, Replicated, Sirona Medical and Dafiti. Okteto was founded in 2018 by Ramiro Berrelleza, Pablo Chico de Guzmán and Ramón Lamana and went through Y Combinator's Winter 2019 batch. After a pre-seed round and a $2M seed round, it raised a $15M Series A in February 2022, led by Two Sigma Ventures with participation from Haystack, Root Ventures and Uncorrelated Ventures.
