Amovens is a Madrid-based car-sharing platform that lets private car owners rent out their vehicles to other people, and also offers ride-sharing and car leasing. It earns commission on the rentals made through its marketplace. Diego Hidalgo Demeusois founded it in Madrid in 2009 as Spain's first large car-sharing platform. In 2015 it merged with the Danish car-sharing company GoMore, which became its parent, and it later passed 1.5 million users in Spain. It raised a €5 million round led by the French insurer Macif in 2017, and in 2021 it closed a €7.3 million round together with GoMore, led by Baloise Group with existing shareholders also taking part.
