Filmijob is a Madrid-based recruitment software company that builds a cloud platform for automating high-volume hiring in retail, hospitality and other sectors with large frontline workforces. The platform covers branded career pages, job multiposting, video interviews and assessments, candidate shortlisting and applicant tracking. It uses its own matching algorithm to score how well each candidate fits each opening, while recruiters make the final hiring decisions. The company reports more than 5,000 hiring processes managed, and its customers include Burger King, McDonald's, Taco Bell, Mapfre, Moeve, Ballesol, Viladomat and Century Fitness. Filmijob was founded in 2013 by Alejandro Manuel López Garrido and Lucía Pérez Azor and is funded at seed stage. Its backers include Civeta Investment, which invested after the Telefónica Foundation's Think Big Demo Day, the headhunting firm Catenon, Start-Up Chile and business angels from the Andalusian network AABAN, who joined a 2021 round.
