Bersity

Bersity is a Palma de Mallorca-based online training platform for beauty professionals. It offers short-format video courses in makeup, hairdressing, barbering, aesthetics, social media and business, taught by established professionals and academies. Access is sold as an annual subscription covering the full catalogue and downloadable materials, and the platform reports more than 100,000 professionals and beauty enthusiasts using its courses, with expansion into Latin America. Celia Megías and Marc Sorli founded the company in Mallorca in 2020, and it took part in the Lanzadera accelerator. In 2021 it closed a €240,000 round led by The Valley, with participation from existing shareholders, family offices and angel investors.
