CounterGrogWise

CounterGrogWise is a Barcelona-based technology company that builds applications combining big data and artificial intelligence for the video gaming sector. Its first product, HeroFinder, is a mobile app that tackles matchmaking in online games: it analyses a player's profile and finds suitable teammates in under thirty seconds. Development began in September 2020, and by mid-July 2021 the app had passed one million downloads. The company was founded in February 2020 by Mercè Delgado with €35,000 of her own capital, later raised a €400,000 seed round from friends, family and fools, and won Spain's National Technology Award 2021 in the Big Data category.
