PPlayspace
Playspace is a Spanish mobile games studio that develops and publishes free-to-play social and traditional multiplayer titles for Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking markets, including Loco Bingo Playspace, Parchís, Dominó, Buraco and Chinchón. Founded in 2011 in Palma de Mallorca and incubated by Mola.com, it raised about $3M across two rounds and became the top-grossing social bingo app in Spain and Italy, claiming 19 cross-platform games and roughly 35 employees. It is no longer an independent early-stage startup: investor Faraday Venture Partners announced a full exit via a trade sale, and Playspace was merged with Social Games Online to form Space Go (studios in Barcelona and Mallorca), still led by co-founder Alfonso Villar.
