VVeritas Intercontinental
Veritas Intercontinental is a Madrid-based genomics company that makes whole genome and exome sequencing, with clinical interpretation and genetic counselling, available to individuals, doctors and hospitals. It sells tests for preventive medicine (myGenome, which covers more than 650 diseases and conditions), perinatal medicine (myNewbornDNA, myPrenatal), oncology (myCancerRisk), cardiology (myCardio) and diagnostic genomics. It runs a genomics laboratory in Barcelona that processes samples from Europe and Latin America, and it works with healthcare partners such as Clínica Universidad de Navarra, Centro Médico Imbanaco in Colombia and Hospital Albert Einstein's Genomika lab in Brazil. Javier de Echevarría, Dr. Luis Izquierdo and Dr. Vincenzo Cirigliano founded it in 2018 as a spin-off of Veritas Genetics. By October 2020 it had raised more than €20 million, including a €5 million Series B led by Charme Capital Partners and Amadeus Capital Partners with Stemar Capital Partners taking part. It is now part of the LetsGetChecked group and has since acquired NIMGenetics and qGenomics.
