Itzarri EPSV is a Vitoria-Gasteiz-based voluntary social welfare entity (Entidad de Previsión Social Voluntaria) that manages the occupational pension plan for employees of the General and Institutional Administration of the Basque Country. Founded in 2005, it had about €1.6B in assets and more than 134,000 members at the end of 2025. As part of its commitment to invest in the Basque economy, which makes up more than 10% of its assets, it co-invests in early-stage Basque start-ups alongside Easo Ventures. These investments include seed rounds in CyberTIX and Normo, and it also holds stakes in listed Basque companies such as Tubacex.
