Instituto Valenciano de Competitividad Empresarial

The Instituto Valenciano de Competitividad Empresarial (IVACE) is the Valencian regional government's public agency for business competitiveness. It reports to the Generalitat Valenciana's Conselleria de Industria, Turismo, Innovación y Comercio. The agency was created in 2012 as the successor to IMPIVA. It runs industrial policy for the Valencian Community and supports companies there through grants and non-dilutive funding for industrial R&D, business innovation, the growth of innovative companies, SME digitalisation, entrepreneurship, internationalisation, investment attraction, energy efficiency and industrial parks, much of it co-financed by EU FEDER funds. The Valencia-based agency funds companies through grant programmes and does not operate as an equity venture capital fund.
