NEXT Electric Motors (branded NEXT Motors) is a Valencia-based startup that designs and sells electric 50cc- and 125cc-equivalent scooters and motorcycles positioned as a direct alternative to petrol equivalents on design, performance and price, alongside a small combustion range. Founded in 2017 by four co-founders and accelerated by Lanzadera from January 2018, it has raised roughly €1.5M across a €500K round fully subscribed by Kereon Partners in October 2020 and a further ~€1M round in 2023, and holds the European Commission Seal of Excellence. It has also become the Spanish distributor for Chinese electric two-wheeler giant Yadea. The team is small (roughly 1-10 employees).
