Emernova is a Valencia-based agritech company that develops autonomous crop monitoring for high-value crops such as vineyards, olive groves, pistachios and fruit trees. Its system pairs an autonomous drone, housed in a box on the farm, with multispectral imaging and an AI agent that detects water stress, disease, vigour changes and other risks and alerts growers, who can query it in natural language. The flight platform is developed with the University of Valencia's IRTIC institute, and the company runs pilots with wineries including Bodegas Nodus. It was founded in Valencia in 2024 by remote-sensing PhD Érika Albero Peralta and mathematician Emilio Jesús Úbeda Rodríguez, and has taken part in the Lanzadera accelerator and CEEI Valencia's Startech Innovation programme.
