Mentelejos is a Valencia-based GovTech company that builds AI-powered open-source intelligence (OSINT) platforms for public administrations in Europe and Latin America. Its platforms pull together social media, news, reviews and other open sources, and use AI to filter and rank large volumes of unstructured information so that governments can follow what is happening across their territories. It has two products. Mussol is a digital risk and emergency radar for civil protection and public safety. Oroneta is an intelligence platform for tourism destinations that analyses the opinions of visitors and residents. The company was founded by Hugo Pinto, who previously spent a decade building intelligence software for cities in Brazil.
