BioEclosion is a Barcelona-based diagnostics company developing rapid point-of-care tests built on a patented magneto-actuated biosensor platform that delivers quantitative results in about 10 minutes, read on a smartphone. Its pipeline covers human health, veterinary diagnostics, food safety and environmental monitoring, with projects including Celifast (coeliac disease), Amplisens (neonatal sepsis screening), AviaSens (poultry viral outbreaks), Memoriex (Alzheimer's risk assessment via exosomes) and Colifinder (drinking-water contamination). The company earns revenue through technology licensing, cartridge sales and co-development partnerships, and holds six international patent families. Founded in 2016 as a spin-off of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, it has been backed by a €250,000 CDTI Neotec grant, EU-funded consortia including the Horizon Europe EChiLiBRiST project, and the IQS Next Tech and MassChallenge Switzerland acceleration programmes.
