NasApp

nasapp.org ↗ ·Barcelona ·Pre-seed

NasApp is a Barcelona-based greentech company that helps industrial operators and public authorities monitor, predict and manage the impact of odour pollution. Its SaaS platform combines geolocated odour reports from residents via a mobile app with chemical sensor readings, weather data and AI models to identify odour sources and anticipate odour episodes. The platform has been used around chemical, waste-management and port facilities, including the Port of Tarragona, with clients such as Repsol, Suez and the Àrea Metropolitana de Barcelona, and it has gathered more than 70,000 citizen reports from over 6,600 users. The technology was developed over two decades inside the Centre Tecnològic de la Química and later Eurecat, and was spun out as an independent company in 2023; it has received a €250,000 grant from the Ports 4.0 programme.
