Recomotor is a Spanish B2B platform and network for recovered (second-hand) automotive spare parts, selling tested and guaranteed used components — especially engines and gearboxes — to workshops, insurers and automotive professionals in Spain and Europe with 24-48h delivery. Founded in 2021 in Balaguer (Lleida) by Jan Amat and Gerard Palau, it raised a ~€2M seed round in 2022 led by Barlon Capital with Mutua Madrileña's Mutua Ventures, and has since vertically integrated by acquiring four scrapyards (Balaguer, Zaragoza, Segovia and Vinaròs), growing past 100 employees with expected 2025 revenue around €10M and more than 50% of sales international. It is headquartered in Catalonia.
