ScrapAd operates a B2B digital marketplace for buying and selling scrap metal and other recyclable materials (plastic, paper, textiles), handling counterparty matching, transaction security, payments and logistics for recyclers, foundries and traders. Founded in 2020 in Eibar (Gipuzkoa) by two executives from the family recycling-machinery group Cometel, it is active in 70+ countries and became the first marketplace in Spain to obtain B Corp certification. It closed a €6M Series A co-led by Inclimo Climate Tech and Suma Capital (announced 2025, following a €5M round in 2023) and runs a tech hub in Madrid (Calle María de Molina 14) alongside its Eibar HQ.
