Skydweller Aero — Debt · €30M

Skydweller, developer of solar-powered autonomous aircraft, secured a €30M venture debt facility from the European Investment Bank under the InvestEU programme to scale development and production. The company is a US-Spanish group with its European operations headquartered in Spain and around 100 of its ~130 staff based there (engineering in Madrid, flight testing in Albacete/Ciudad Real); the EIB loan was later formally signed in November 2023.
