Barlon Capital, Javier Rubió's VC firm, invested an undisclosed amount in Sant Cugat del Vallès-based IoT antenna maker Ignion through its €20 million Barlon Capital II vehicle, matched in equal proportion by the European Innovation Council (EIC) Fund; two family offices were reported as possible additional participants. Barlon took a board seat; Ignion's Virtual Antenna technology is already in 30 million IoT devices.
